Rajiv Sharma, President & CEO
Rajiv Sharma, President & CEO of STAT MedCare, LLC and Knack Global, LLC started his professional career with Intelligroup (NTT data systems), a leading player in SAP & is a Gold partner. He was instrumental in implementing SAP projects for fortune 500 companies and went on to set up their New Zealand and India operations.
He ventured out on his own in 1998 with Knack Systems, a NJ based SAP implementation organization with clients such as Loreal, American Standard (US & Europe), Pepsico etc. Rajiv set up the offshore center in Mumbai India in the year 2001 and now has offices in Hyderabad.
In 2009 he also ventured into the Healthcare Industry with Knack Global. Knack Global is primarily an RCM company providing services to providers in the US with offices in Chandigarh and Jaipur India with approximately 1,500 employees. During this period, he was also instrumental in acquiring four (4) other companies in US within the healthcare space.
Rajiv holds a Masters in Computer Science and resides in New Jersey.
Laurie is the Chief Operating Officer of STAT MedCare LLC and Knack Global. She has over 30 years of healthcare experience in Operations, Practice Management, Healthcare Compliance, Chart Audits and Revenue Cycle Management. Laurie has extensive experience Operations transitions, implementing Electronic Medical Records (EMR’s) as well as working with the Office of Inspector General (OIG) on Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) auditing and reporting. Laurie is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and an ICD-10CM/CPS certified trainer.
Melissa joined STAT MedCare, LLC in 2016 and brings over 10 years of experience in sales and account management. Melissa was recently promoted to VP of Sales. Among her previous positions, Melissa served as Regional Sales and Account Manager for Radiology 24/7, a California-based Teleradiology provider. Melissa leads the STAT’s sales team with not only her knowledge base but by also delivering outstanding customer service. Melissa is a self-driven, organized, and hard-working individual who is always exceeding the expectations of those surrounding her. Her drive, professionalism, and demeanor makes her not only a great leader, but an excellent motivator. Melissa holds a Bachelors of Art in Public Relations from Georgian Court University. She currently resides in Tampa with her three sons!
Samantha joined STAT in January of 2017 and brings in over 10 years’
experience in Customer Service and Sales. Samantha is a hard-working, organized and efficient team player.
Sam works directly with our VP of Sales, assists in closing contracts, conducts all client demos of our credentialing software STATCred, assists with all social media and marketing campaigns and serves as our referral partner coordinator.
She currently resides in Florida and is a mother of two. In her spare time, she loves going the beach, working on creative projects, and spending time with her family.
Human Resources and Finance
Bekah came to STAT in September 2016, with over 20 plus years of experience in the healthcare industry. Bekah manages all of STAT’s invoicing, Accounts Receivable and payroll. Bekah’s position is essential to success of STAT and our clients. With Bekah’s positive attitude, she has easily developed a trusting rapport with STAT clients. Bekah is a mother of 3, and grandmother of 3 and one on the way! She enjoys a simple life in the Tennessee countryside with family and 4 dogs.
Heather joined STAT MedCare in January 2020 and brings over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. From Help Desk Support with Microsoft products, to Technical Support Management with Apple. She was also
formerly on the board of the KEYS program, a 501(c) 3 organization that brings Music Therapy to special needs children.
Heather has an extreme passion for the healthcare industry and her experience has helped her become the leader she is today. She has extensive knowledge in Information Technology Programming and Systems, Training and Documentation, Advisor Development, and Customer Support.
As the Director of Information Technology with STAT MedCare, Heather will be responsible for the day to day operations of our growing IT department to include STATCred; training and technical support and will work directly with our Human Resources Department. With her advanced knowledge of the IT field, dedication, and leadership skills she will lead a successful team with STAT MedCare in providing exceptional client and user experiences.
Heather currently resides in Virginia with her husband, daughter, grandson, and 2 dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends on the weekends.
Melody joined STAT MedCare in 2018 as an Account Manager. Melody brings strong passion for the Medical Staff services for providers and client. Her knowledge and expertise and, over 10 years’ experience in roles of, provider enrollment, credentialing, risk management, quality improvement, accreditation processes, patient satisfaction and leadership, have advanced her career in healthcare. In 2019 she was promoted to a Senior Account Manager where she worked closely with the Executive Director of Operations and the other Senior Account Managers in keeping STAT’s credentialing processes running smoothly. She was then promoted again to Director of Client Services where she will be working with clients during our onboarding process, working with clients on a regular basis to provide white glove service, and training our Senior Account Managers and Account Managers.
Melody resides in Wisconsin with her husband, three sons, daughter and step-son. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
Andrea joined STAT MedCare in 2020. In doing so, she brings her vast knowledge of payer enrollment. She has spent 10 years working in Health Care as both a medical biller and an enrollment specialist. Working as an enrollment specialist for the last 4 years, Andrea brings the experience necessary to assist her team in being successful in the everchanging Health Care Industry. Andrea is known for her attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet the demands of the credentialing world. She comes to STAT MedCare with proven leadership skills. In her previous work, she was promoted from an Account Specialist to a Supervisor after her leadership found she had the ability to work with and motivate her team to be successful. Andrea has worked at all levels, but as an Account Manager for STATMedCare she has brought proven process enhancements for her team to ensure they are efficient and productive in all areas. Andrea and her Husband, Josh, welcomed their first child, Parker Andrew, this past April. She resides in the Hudson Valley region of New York. She enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering for her favorite dog rescue, Take Me Home Pet Rescue.
Brittany Lindsay, Senior Account Manager
Brittany recently joined STAT MedCare on April 13, 2020, as an Account Manager. Brittany has excellent experience in Healthcare Credentialing, Provider Enrollment, and Medical Billing expertise. With over ten years of Provider Healthcare experience. She enjoys research that contribute to ongoing company success. In 2015 she obtained her Medical Billing and Coding training certification to perfect her daily tasks of Provider Enrollment. Brittany loves to help and teach people to orchestrate a smooth flow of operations.
Brittany resides in Texas with her husband and son. She enjoys spending time with her family, being gardening outdoors along with creating artwork in her spare time.
Amy Moorman, Account Manager
Amy joined STAT MedCare in 2020, bringing with her over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Her main experience is with provider enrollment and payor credentialing with both Governmental and Commercial Payers alike. She especially enjoys working with practices to help them ensure they are appropriately and accurately represented within each payer’s database. Amy is excited about bringing her problem-solving skills, persistence, and strong attention to detail to her new role as an Account Manager.
Amy graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. She lives in Ohio with her wonderful husband and 3 amazing children. Away from the office, she enjoys photography, video editing, baking, knitting, and hiking.
Anhelica Brown, Account Manager
Anhelica joined STAT MedCare in 2020. In doing so, she brings her vast knowledge of Credentialing, Scheduling, onboarding, and provider enrollment.
She has been Working as an credentialing specialist for the last 6 years. Anhelica brings the experience necessary to assist her team in being successful in the ever-changing Health Care Industry. She is known for her people skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet the demands of the credentialing world.
She resides in Sunny Fort Lauderdale Florida. She enjoys spending time with her family and her 3 dogs.
Brandee Prentice, Account Manager
Brandee joined STAT Medcare in 2020 and brings over 6 years of experience in credentialing and licensing as well as over 3 years in payor/provider enrollment.
Her credentialing experience started in the locum staffing industry. Here she worked with over 50 recruiters covering 50 states. A few professions would include MD’s DO’s, PA, NP, LP, RN, and some LPT. She worked with a team of individuals making sure the providers they were putting to work were State Board ready. After several years of working in the licensing department, Brandee ventured into the credentialing field. She worked closely with MSO offices all over the country, completing hospital credentialing.
She developed a desire and passion for learning new ways to work in the industry, so she started lending a hand to the payor credentialing/ enrollments team. It is her goal to make clients feel comfortable, confident, and eager to work with her. She enjoys speaking with providers one on one, allowing her to understand better the exact needs or goals that are sought after. Brandee has an open communication line, so no question or concern will ever shy her away.
In her free time, you can find Brandee cooking with her family, enjoying good music, or taking pictures with her Boxer Bella. Brandee loves to paint and create new things. So, if you ever want to try the best fried chicken, pound cake, and a plethora of other goodies, come to Dallas Tx.
Dawn Walsh, Account Manager
Dawn joined STAT MedCare in October of 2020. She brings experience in Clinical, Administrative, Billing, Provider Enrollment and Hospital Credentialing with 25 years experience in the Medical field.
Dawn started as a Medical Assistant, then moved to the Administrative side of the profession. She has been specifically doing Provider Enrollment and Credentialing for the last 10 years and has developed a vast knowlegde for the Insurance Carriers and States. She has also obtained her Provider Enrollment Specialist Certificate (PESC). Dawn has worked in varies levels and loves to teach and share the knowledge she has acquired over the years. She has attention to detail, organization and helping team members to be productive and meet goals.
Dawn resides in Brownsburg, Indiana and enjoys spending quality time with her 2 children and grandson. She is also an advocate for her son with Autism and the Autism community.
Jacqueline joined STAT MedCare in 2019 and brings over 20 years of diverse experience in the Medical Billing and Credentialing healthcare industry; working with hospitals, small offices, as well as large multi-specialty offices. Jacqueline hasan extreme passion for the healthcare industry and having worked in all aspects ofmedical practice has helped her become the leader she is today. She has extensiveknowledge in billing, Accounts Receivable, Credentialing, Contracting, governmentregulatory reporting programs, staff development, patient and provider satisfaction.As an Account Manager with STAT Medcare, Jacqueline will be responsible forensuring client satisfaction, retention, and seeing that all work that is asked ofSTAT is completed in a timely fashion. With her advanced knowledge of the medical field, dedication, and leadership skills she will lead a successful team with STATMedCare in providing exceptional client experiences.
Jacqueline continues to service clients around the US with their credentialing needs.She is the mother of 2 young adults, one son and one daughter. She is also a newlygrandmother to her grandson. She loves to frequent the island of Jamaica with herhusband for family business and pleasure. Jacqueline loves to inspire women inliving a well- balanced life. She currently resides in North Carolina. She pridesherself on living her best life with family and friends.
Jennifer joined STAT Medcare Solutions in 2013 and has over 15 years of experiencein the healthcare industry, including provider enrollment, AR clean-up, primarysource verification, provider relations, medical office management, and extensiverate negotiations experience. While working for STAT, Jennifer has successfullynegotiated fee schedule increases for multiple clients, resulting in a 10% increase inrevenue for those clients.
Prior to joining STATMedcare, Jennifer was the Office Manager and CredentialingCoordinator for a physician recruitment firm specializing in government contracts.Jennifer has vast experience and knowledge in provider enrollment, billing andcoding as well as provider licensing. Jennifer is very organized, detailed-orientedand a great communicator with a strong work ethic
Jodi joined STAT MedCare in 2020 and comes with 11 years of Credentialing experience. She started working in Medical Billing, Collections and Quality Assurance. This iswhere her healthcare career began. She assisted in developing Payor Specific QA guidelines for HMO/PPO teams and developed team goals. She also worked in Quality Assurance as anauditor for Medical Billing, Collections and Clinical Appeals.
Jodi has processed and maintained credentialing and re-credentialing of Medical Staffapplications, managing payorenrollment processes with Medicare, Medicaid and CommercialPayors in accordance with Credentialing policies and procedures. She’s been responsible for credentialing locum tenens and temporary privileges in a timely manner along withidentifying red and yellow flags. She has been the point person for completing and ensuringcompliance and delivery of required information to clients. Ensured credentialing files werecurrent and completed according to expiration date of medical licenses, board certifications,professional liability insurance coverage and other pertinent information per Credentialingpolicies and procedures. She has Primary Source Verified the National Practitioner DataBank, State Licenses, DEA’s, Board certifications, Peer evaluations, Affiliations, EPLS/SAM, OIG and Education.
Jodi has ensured compliance with accreditation standards and legal requirements related tothe medical staff offices. She has been responsible for putting credentialing processes intoplace for Locum Tenens. Provided effective and efficient oversight and facilitation of thecredentialing, re-credentialing, licensure and malpractice coverage of a Medical Group of providers and provided timely and accurate information to the Centralized Billing Office andphysicians’ offices while maintaining excellent customer service with respect to theproviders.
Jodi loves living beachside in sunny Florida with her Siberian Husky, Dante. Her hobbiesinclude volunteering, reading, singing, meditation, music, visiting farmers markets,kayaking, SUP, hiking trails and yoga. She has volunteered with the following organizations;Oceanway Florida VFW Post 11406, River Garden Hebrew home, Fifty Forward Meals onWheels, Jacksonville Rescue Mission, Nashville Room in the Inn and Souls United.
Lynnette Colon, Account Manager
Lynnette joined the STAT MedCare team in 2020 bringing extensive knowledge in the healthcare administration career field. She began her career in a small OB-GYN practice, then transferred over to a level II Trauma Center in Jersey City. Throughout the years, Lynnette gained a lot of experience and learned real world knowledge which cannot be taught in a classroom. Nonetheless, her ambition and drive led her to pursue a Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Sociology/Anthropology – Grad Prep. Her work experience taught her how to manage and deescalate potentially problematic occurrences in a professional manner and environment. More importantly she learned the difference between credentialing and provider enrollment. While the words may seem synonyms, they are not. The roles for provider enrollment and credentialing differ, as does the responsibilities of each role.
Lynnette takes pride in the work she produces and is extremely meticulous when reviewing any application or provider files to be submitted for committee. Anyone who has worked in this field cannot stress the importance of meeting and/or exceeding the criteria set forth by the directive of management. However, it would be amiss to oversight the importance of inclusivity of all team members, as we are only as strong as our weakest link. It is important to lead by example and not alone on directive. With that said, she would like to ensure all my team members are kept in the loop with more than enough time to meet any deadlines set forth by management or the client, provided the request is feasible.
Finally, it is imperative to mention her ability to negotiate special rates for CPT codes which are not typically included in a standard physician agreement, as a result the client earned more money for every patient treated. Also, since Lynette has been working in this industry for approximately 10 years, she has networked with people who work on the payer end, which often times can be useful, when we need an issue resolved in a timely manner.
Lynnette’s drive for success has not diminished as she intends on obtaining her credentialing certificate and Masters of Sociology to pursue LCSW. Despite any educational or professional accomplishment or 5-year goal plan.
Lynnette thoroughly enjoys being a mother to her three boys, ages: 19,15, and 4. Although Lynnette bore her first child at the age of 20 she found a purpose that is simply inexpiable. Through the years she has shared her love for baking with her eldest, who is now pursuing a Culinary Arts Degree at HCCC. While her fifteen- year old has already produced and recorded music, and well the 4- year old is just another moment, minute, and second to appreciate, all the small things.
Michelle Alexander is a certified medical staff professional with STAT MedCare. She began her career in healthcare by working in the Medical Staff Office of a small hospital in Conroe, TX. Since that time, she has logged over 9 years of experience in various areas of credentialing (operations, managed care enrollment & network maintenance, insurance verification & referrals, primary source verifications, medical state licensing, medical executive assistance). She was promoted to Account Manager in 2019.
In addition to her knowledge and experience in the preparation and processing of all commercial and Government managed care application, Michelle also has an outstanding background in provider network management, facility (hospital) medical staff privileging appointment and reappointment applications, State and Federal licensing applications, and renewals, as well as medical malpractice application/processing and claims history. Michelle possesses wonderful organizational skills, is extremely proficient, has a great work ethic, is very detail-oriented, and is an excellent communicator.
Some of Michelle’s interests outside of work include traveling with her family, exercising her palate as a food critic, and collecting precious stones.
Patty joined STAT MedCare Solutions in 2010 and has over 24 years of professional credentialing and managed care contracting experience. Prior tojoining STAT MedCare, Patty was the Director of Credentialing and Licensingfor a national full-service teleradiology provider. In that position, Pattyoversaw the physician credentialing, managed care contracting and providerenrollment process. Prior to that, Patty was the Credentialing ServicesManager and HIPAA Privacy Official for one of the country’s largest providerof diagnostic imaging services, overseeing the physician credentialsverification and Medicare/Medicaid enrollment departments. Patty has extensive knowledge of JCAHO and NCQA standards, and CMS regulations. Patty has a BS degree from the University of Utah and has been a CertifiedProfessional Medical Services Manager (CPMSM) since June 2008. She hasbeen a member of the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS)since 2005 and the California Association of Medical Staff Services (CAMSS) since 2004.
Rolanda Bryant, Account Manager
Rolanda joined STAT MedCare in 2020, bringing over 15 years of payor enrollment and credentialing experience. She graduated from Elizabeth City State University with a bachelor’s in Business Administration. In addition, she has also worked as an Assistant Manager and Patient Financial Services so she understands the importance of making sure all providers are participating with insurances and linked to the appropriate office location(s).
She has worked in Community Health Centers, Hospital and outpatient settings to include different types of specialties and different types of providers.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Seda joins STAT MedCare with seven years’ experience in the Medical field. Though Seda started out at the front desk at a medical practice, it didn’t take long before she expanded her knowledge in the world of credentialing and was promoted to managing over 200 physicians.
Seda’s credentialing experience covers multiple specialties, including Orthopedics, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Physical Medicine, in the medical and surgical facilities, hospitals and telemedicine areas of provider enrollment. With this knowledge, management experience, and the passion to give her clients the best experience possible, it was an easy decision for Seda to be an Account Manager with STAT.
She has been married for 18 years and although she doesn’t have children of her own she loves spending time with her Grandchildren and her Niece & Nephew. She is proud owner of 3 English Bull Terriers, one of which she shows at dog shows.
Shelagh Nugent, Account Manager
Shelagh joined STAT Medcare in 2020 bringing along over 25 plus years of experience in the healthcare industry. Initially specializing in medical billing for a large Northeast medical group, she was then promoted to Office Manager to open a new satellite office of the practice. She continued to excel in her most recent role as the sole Credentialing Specialist for the practice for the last 10 years and possesses a New York State Notary Public License.
Through various roles she has acquired extensive knowledge in the areas of CAQH, state licensing, DEA, NPI enrollment, Medicare/Medicaid, primary source verification, hospital, ASC and payor enrollment, professional liability insurance coverage, and EDI/clearinghouse enrollments and edits.
Shelagh prides herself on developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with providers to efficiently onboard new professionals as well as maintain all reappointments. She is committed to continuous improvement in provider credentialing and adherence to
Shelagh resides in Upstate New York with her husband and two children.
Val joined STAT MedCare Solutions, LLC in December 2019 with 12 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining STAT, Val gained knowledge in military privileging, provider enrollment, and insurance credentialing. She has experience in payorenrollment for commercial and government plans throughout the country with experience in independent labs, physician groups that include radiology and pathology, and facility enrollment. Val possesses a tremendous work ethic and has great organizational skills, which she is eager to display in her new role as AccountManager.Val was raised in Philadelphia, PA and currently lives in Roanoke, VA. She isa diehard Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers fan and enjoys crocheting in herspare time.
